Crypto whales are suddenly moving hundreds of millions of dollars worth of Ethereum (ethereum), Bitcoin (Bitcoin), XRP, and Dogecoin (Doge) in the last 24 hours.
According to whale research platform Whale Alert, wealthy Ethereum investors are move 83,500 ETH worth $130,143,407 at the time of writing from one unknown wallet to another.
Other notable ETH transactions by wealthy traders on Whale Alert’s radar include transfers from prominent crypto exchange platforms.
Whale Alert also draws attention to activity surrounding XRP, the cryptocurrency used to power the payment protocol Ripple. A whale research platform has found that wealthy investors are mostly moving their tokens to crypto exchange platforms.
- 26,000 XRP worth $11,974,595 transferred from unknown wallet to Bitstamp
- 44,461,110 XRP worth $20,622,002 transferred from Bitstamp to an unknown wallet
- 30,000,000 XRP worth $14,021,806 transferred from unknown wallet to Bitstamp
- 22,000,000 XRP worth $10,347,037 transferred to Bitstamp from unknown wallet
Next on the list is Dogecoin, which has seen a recent price increase following Elon Musk’s acquisition of social media platform Twitter.
Last on the list is Bitcoin. According to Whale Alert, well-funded traders are trading crypto of kings to and from digital asset exchanges.
According to the data, the overall value of cryptocurrencies transferred by whales totals about $412.3 million.
