Meta launches crypto payment platform

Facebook’s parent company, Meta, plans to launch a payment platform that integrates cryptocurrencies. In a record submitted to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) last week, Meta submitted five applications for a new platform called “MetaPay” for customers to exchange old-fashioned traditional money for cryptocurrencies. .. LimeWire has partnered with UMG on a music NFT licensing platform

LimeWire, a digital collector marketplace, has announced that it has signed the first major music label partnership agreement with Universal Music Group (UMG), a global leader in music-based entertainment. The marketplace works together to make digital music collections available to a larger audience. UMG’s lineup includes well-known artists such as Taylor Swift, Kendrick Lamar, The Rolling Stones, U2, BTS, Chris Stapleton, The Weeknd, ABBA and Elton John. This agreement does not guarantee that any of these artists will release NFTs on LimeWire, but you have the option to do so. As part of this collaboration, UMG will use the LimeWire Marketplace to license LimeWire to collaborate with artists to create music-based NFT projects. LimeWire will launch a “formal campaign” later this month and then make its debut in the market.
