“Life in Our Minds” by Random International & Danil Krivoruchko
Pace Verso and OG.Art Announce New Generative NFT project by Experimental Art Group random international and digital artist Danil Krivoruchko. Dubbed “Life in Our Minds,” their new project brings together the worlds of contemporary art and cryptocurrencies, and is a breakthrough that encourages buyers to actively participate in the formal evolution of his NFTs to increase scarcity. technology is incorporated. Held by designboom interview With Hannes Koch and Florian Ortkrass, founders of Random International, we discuss new NFT projects and the emerging technologies that fascinate them, and discuss previous projects ( rain room) is relevant to today’s crypto space.
A two-part project includes: Animated NFT collection and corresponding interactive video sculpture Titled “Mother Flock”, it’s made up of individual NFTs to be announced later this year. “Life in our mind” is a very basic form, an extension and iteration of “herd studies” where we experimented, studied and created different ways of engaging in collective behavior. Flocking behavior is not unique to any species, but it was almost imagined that many very simple individual movements occur together in a specific way and according to a very basic set of specific rules. Or has the appeal of creating a sensory counterpart. It is behaviorally more than the number of its constituent parts. All of a sudden it seems like a purposeful being, but it’s just full of little ignorance. At some point, I started investigating the need to simulate such collective behavior with algorithms. Next, I had the opportunity to experiment with how to digitally transform the behavior of the algorithm. I have largely stripped the real world from my other-scale installation work and returned it to the algorithm’s natural habitat: the digital space. We were very interested in bringing quite a few democratization elements here. We found the idea of an NFT space really appealing and thought we could create a large scale sculpture in a kind of public space. ” Hannes Koch shared with designboom.
“Conceptually, there is a virtual public space emerging that the metaverse moves forward. It is a third public space. I think everyone is fully contributing, or has the ability and potential to contribute. It transcends and begins to have a life of its own, and that means life exists in our minds, which is the title of this project: ownership, consumership, and creation. There is something very unique about this space that is not possible in the physical world. It’s a kind of boundary in the NFT space that’s interesting to actually do the unattainable, and it’s very intriguing.”
“Life in Our Minds” nft in continuous development
Pace Gallery’s web3 hub, Pace Verso, and Snark.art’s OG.Art NFT platform launch a new generative NFT project by Random International (see details). here) and Danil Krivoruchko (more here), OG: Co-creator of the Crystals NFT project. The “Life in Our Minds” NFT consists of a small group of voids in the shape of a 3D bird-like origami object. Visual characteristics are generated initially and evolve according to the contents of each owner’s digital wallet. Based on continuous development, the longer collectors hold NFTs, the more rare and complex the formal features become. The evolutionary mechanism forms a shape-shifting artwork with the active participation of the owner. This encourages long-term ownership of NFTs and seeks to reverse typical cryptocurrency market behavior, including speculation and flipping.
“Life in Our Minds works with Flamingo DAO, Pleasr DAO, Fingerprints DAO, PROOFCollective and Tom Sachs. Custom Offered in Rocket Factory, Moonbirds, Outland, Pace Verso, OG:Crystals, Ksoids, and 89 Seconds Atomized Evolutionary traits available only to those holding NFTs associated with these partners. Additional Custom Evolution patterns that can be achieved by other NFT collection owners are unveiled here.’
The NFTs in the project are part of a continuously developing “Mother Flock” virtual sculpture that represents the formal transformation of individual NFTs. “The visual signature of The Mother Flock is informed by the actions of its constituent voids, bringing ideas about the power of both collective and individual action to the forefront of the project.” A web version of this is freely available on the OG.Art platform. Dedicated to scientific research focused on human and avian psychology and behavior, “Life in Our Minds” was born as one of his most collaborative and technologically innovative NFT projects to date. I was. Life in our Minds explores the human tendency to attribute character, intention, and narrative to simple moving forms of complex behavior, and the subconscious instincts and emotional triggers that cause them to do so. continue. share the duo.
