Power Users of BSV – DT Mining

This is the latest article in the series. Interview real users of BSV applications To understand the applications they are using, what their pain points are, and what it takes to scale and reach mass adoption. The intention of this series is to learn the mindset of “down to earth” people, not just entrepreneurs and developers.

Interview with a power user Daniel Tuckera miner, an artist, and has created many great memes. Minor gorilla pool dedicated to BSV.

What is your favorite application built on? Bitcoin Why?

Daniel Tucker: My BSV world currently revolves around TakeIt. I have created his NFT collection of Gorilla Pool there (‘NANA GANG shouts, salute to GorillaBalls holders) and have recently started releasing my own abstract generative art collection there. good.

HandCash pairs well with TakeIt… The login experience is very smooth and the way the HandCash pfp is displayed for each ‘take’ in TakeIt makes the NFT experience very social and fun. The Haste and HandCash team have some magic now. I’m glad Kurt urged me to consider them the home of the GorillaPool NFT.

What applications do you use on a daily basis and why?

Daniel Tucker: TakeIt and HandCash. I’m also a fan of RareCandy. They got me hooked on art NFTs when I was hearing a lot of irony. NFTs, I really enjoyed my experience at RareCandy. Especially demons and monkeys, and Randy’s various balls. It was like a BSV community with a dartboard and a game room with a good atmosphere.

Comparing Astro Ape’s pfps and frogs with bananas on their heads to other GorillaPool mates… I’ve been an advocate for BSV and mining since last year.

How long have you been a digital currency user?

Daniel Tucker: Blockchain enthusiast since 2017. BTC price action caught my attention and I found ETH to be the more interesting future tech, so I discovered Craig Wright and was turned to the full Bitcoin vision while losing money on both. rice field. There is so much that BSV/Bitcoin/Scalable Global Blockchain can do… I hope it succeeds.

If applicable, what other digital currencies do you use?

Daniel Tucker: I’m looking at BSV. I’m only using BSV. However, holding 100% BSV up to $35 will teach you how to diversify your investment portfolio. BSV is a long game, but BTC has a day in the sun. is.

What do you think the Bitcoin SV space needs most?

Daniel Tucker: Craig makes his identity as Satoshi Nakamoto clear to 80% of people. Of course, there may be tailwinds later. Hard times show what you are made of. In reality, however, the prevailing misrepresentation about Craig is the biggest obstacle to adoption of BSV. He thinks this is like a ten-year process to remedy this, using each case to release a piece of evidence. You may have to Written by Zem, which ends up signing as the culmination of his proof. Craig is adamant that other forms of evidence form the basis as part of showing that Bitcoin is compatible with property rights and the rule of law. is.

Are you still bullish on the BSV price?

Daniel Tucker: Long term yes. We have high hopes for BSV in the future in terms of scaling, adoption, and pricing. But for now, it’s hard work with a long-term vision and hard decisions about where to store investment value in the short to medium term.

What is the overall impact (positive, negative, neutral) of Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre on the universe?

Daniel Tucker: I see Craig Wright as a brilliant, mean-spirited inventor. His work will bring tremendous positive value to society. and Calvin as a billionaire who has it and is doing everything in his power to make Craig’s vision a reality. Calvin his BSV his mining, conference, media and behind the scenes contributions…I respect that.

Christen Ager-Hanssen has just joined and I think he concludes the C suite (CSW, CA, CAH) very well. We are focused on reaching out and energizing everyone in the BSV ecosystem, also through our Twitter space. Connect nChain to his BSV app developer nexus the way you really want it.

What are the pain points and frustrations of using applications that integrate Bitcoin SV?

Daniel Tucker: There are a myriad of pain points, but it’s great and inspiring to see the team solving them and building great applications like HandCash, Haste, Twetch, and Gorilla Pool.

We all need to find a team we can trust and support them in any way we can.

What do you think is the biggest risk for Bitcoin to achieve mass adoption?

Daniel Tucker: I don’t think so. I can see the fate of Bitcoin and contribute to it.

What are the highlights in this area?

Daniel Tucker: The economics of mining BSV (or more precisely, the economics of being a hash power provider) are 99% controlled by the price of BTC, hence the boom and bust due to BTC’s four-year halving. A good understanding of the cycle is essential.

As a miner, why are you a fan of GorillaPool?

Daniel Tucker: Gorilla Pool is basically a desire to see the BSV ecosystem thrive. In 2021, when I saw Kurt and Root solving real-time problems for app developers on Twitter, I was excited about the role independent mining could play.

When I learned about colocation hosting, allowing small batches of machines to be hosted and maintained by a professional third party at industrial electricity rates, I was very tempted by the opportunity to make a profit while offering BSV. I dove in. Kurt and he were very receptive, so it grew into a fun creative outlet for me.

Daniel, thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I hope that the readers will deepen their understanding of spaces from the standpoint of everyday use.
