Azuki takes IP governance to the next level with its latest project.
For those who don’t know this concept, IP governance is the system that businesses use to make decisions about intellectual property. These decisions are usually left to the actual company.
Bob Bean Farmer transfers some of that power to the holder.
Bobu is Azuki # 40, and the company says that he is the “core character of the Azuki universe” who enjoys sake and grows beans on the farm. Details are undecided, but it is known that Bob will play an important role in the tradition of adzuki beans as the world of the project expands.
On Sunday, Azuki announced a collection of Bobu tokens that can be cast at 0.01 ETH. The collection ignited instantly and as of Monday afternoon the floor had risen to 0.079 ETH. Each Bobu token holder can vote for changes as the character evolves.
From the early stages of development, Azuki wants to experiment with this concept of empowering holders to shape Bob.
