LAS VEGAS — United Talent Agency (UTA) has signed PROOF, the company behind the popular non-fungible token (NFT) Kevin Rose, CEO of the Moonbirds collection, made the announcement at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas on Friday.
As one of Hollywood’s top three talent agencies, UTA helps PROOF expand its reach through a variety of partnerships.
In a tweet, Rose said, “We are focused on partnerships that extend Moonbirds well beyond its existing Web3 audience and transform Moonbirds into a global brand.”
“We are already working on our next partnership that we know you will love and we couldn’t be more excited to kick off 2023 with a bang,” Rose tweeted.
UTA told CoinDesk that the partnership will help Rose “expand into brand partnerships, merchandising, licensing, sponsorships and more, creating new opportunities in areas such as film, television and publishing.”
The California-based talent agency has built its Web3 portfolio under Lesley Silverman, Head of Web3. Signing NFT projects CryptoPunks and Deadfellaz and NFT artist Diana Sinclair. In October, UTA announced it would accelerate investment in Web3 startups. Partnership with investment company Investcorp.
Rhodes did not immediately respond to a request for comment from CoinDesk.
