Illuvium Overworld Private Beta Begins December 12th
- Players will be able to explore the world, acquire resources, participate in various battles, and experiment with all aspects surrounding the game.
- Illuvium has its own marketplace known as Illuvidex, which will be used for trading all Illuvium-related NFTs going forward.
Players with access to the Illuvium Arena Private Beta will have access to the Overworld Private Beta by default.
Beginning December 12th at 7pm UTC, eligible players will receive an email with details on how to access the game.

Irvium Overworld and Irubial
Illuvium Overworld is the main game that is part of a wider ecosystem. Built for players to explore the world and capture Irubial.
Illuials are monsters that players can capture and send into battle. Players can heal them if they fall in battle.

These monsters can be tamed, grown and fought, all represented as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). These NFTs can be traded on Illuvidex, the ecosystem’s official marketplace.
Once these Illuvials are captured, the Ethereum-2 scaling solution Immutable X (IMX), on which the game runs, allows players to trade them in-game without gas fees.
Players can battle them, defeat them, and earn cryptographic rewards from the game.There is also the ability for players to mine shards in-game. However, each player must pay to activate them, or “heal” them in the game’s terms.
These Cure Shards can capture Illuvails ranging in tier from 0 to 5. Tier 5 here represents the last and rarest tier and has the highest stats.
With all that in mind, Illuvium operates in an open world and follows the role-playing game (RPG) genre. Players can visit landscapes, hunt and capture creatures, fight other players, and produce resources.

- Players should remember that they may not keep any items, resources, iluvials, or experience earned while playing the Private Beta. All progress made in this beta will be permanently erased.
