Developed in collaboration with trusted partner FTX, one of the world’s most innovative cryptocurrency exchanges, the team collaborates with a range of artists on the 2022 Race Calendar to collect, exchange and own races for fans. The team and FTX will release a free billing NFT “Ticket Stub” (an artistic interpretation of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Race Ticket) and a unique and unusual NFT created by world-leading artists throughout the year. Starting with Miami, you can participate in the auction at various points in the 2022 season.
The series of NFT ticket stub drops creates opportunities for fans to build, exchange and collect their own NFT ticket stub collections during the season, providing even more ways for fans to interact with each other. Building a new community of collectors and traders, all have a common passion for racing and digital art. Most races have 2,500 free billing NFT ticket stubs, and up to 5 races will create 1,000 limited edition NFT ticket stubs in collaboration with various artists throughout the season.
2022 F1 Miami Race Weekend will unveil several unique NFTs in collaboration with interdisciplinary artist Mad Dog Jones. This is the first of a limited edition NFT collection designed by various artists throughout the season. A limited edition run of 1000 Miami-inspired NFT ticket stubs created by Maddog can be claimed by fans at nftmercedesamgf1.com starting Friday 6th.th in May. With four races already completed in the 2022 F1 season, the team will also release a limited edition NFT ticket stub for the season opener at the Miami Grand Prix.
